Origin & Story of Greenbiom

Greenbiom was born from a research program initiated by Anoom Laboratories together with the Faculty of Biotechnologies – USAMV Bucharest.
The starting point was the Romanian porcini mushroom (Boletus edulis) – a local resource rich in fiber, beta-glucans, polyphenols, ergosterol (a precursor of vitamin D), triterpenoids, etc. Through a proprietary multi-stage extraction process and in vitro and in vivo testing, a bioactive compound standardized in beta-glucan content was obtained, with demonstrated effects on the microbiota and metabolism.
